The Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge is the first bridge crossing the Yangtze River.

It is little longer than a one mile, connecting the Snack Mountain of Wuchang and the Tortoise Mountain of Hanyang. It is a magnificent bridge and plays an important role in Central China.

The Yangtze River Bridge is an important gateway for City of Wuhan. It is an important midway connecting point for the military and commercial interchange in Central China. This steel bridge has double layers, can be used by railroad and highways.

The upper layer is designed for cars, whereas the lower level is railway for trains. On both sides there are "Induction Bridges" connecting to the roads. The entire structure of this Yangtze River Bridge seems a little bigger than the main frame.

The bridge is at Yangtze River, where railroad from Beijing to Guangzhou meets ("Jingguang Railway"). Yet, because of this bridge the City of Wuhan became the transit center for Central China.

Either in waterway or road transportation, it takes the position as interchange for western area of Sichuan and the eastern area of Hunan. The Yangtze River Bridge acts an important role in Central China since the day it was built.
