Liu Wei

Liu Wei (born on January 15, 1980, in Shanghai) is a Chinese basketball player. He plays for the Shanghai Sharks of the Chinese Basketball Association. During the 2004-2005 NBA season, when the Houston Rockets and Sacramento Kings played each other twice in China, the Kings signed Liu. However, he was not picked up after the end of the preseason. He continues to play for the Sharks, and is a starter for the the Chinese national basketball team.
