HONG KONG, March 1 (Xinhua) -- UK business management consultancy Molten Thursday opened its Asian regional base in HongKong. The new office, the company's first in Asia, will play a key role in Molten's expansion plans, said Rory Colfer, managing director of the company. "Establishing our Asian headquarters in Hong Kong secures another piece of our global network. Importantly it puts us in the same location and time zone as many of our current clients," he said. Molten's Hong Kong operation is headed up by Stephen Bingle, general director for Asia. "Hong Kong is ideally located as Molten's Asian platform and several of our existing clients have already chosen Hong Kong as their Asian headquarters," he said. According to Bingle, after establishing its Asian base in Hong Kong, Molten looks to expand its regional presence to Singapore and the Chinese mainland within the next two years. Founded in 2003 and headquartered in London, Molten specializes in program management and change management and focuses on the financial services, energy and telecommunications sectors. The company has offices in Moscow, Bahrain and Abu Dhabi. Trackback(0)
