U.S. to play China in soccer friendly
The United States will face China in an international friendly on June 2 in the team's final tuneup ahead of the CONCACAF Gold Cup, the U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) announced on Monday.

Games have already been scheduled against Ecuador on March 25 in Florida and Guatemala on March 28th in Texas before China visit Spartan Stadium in San Jose.

The U.S. is currently 2-0 this year under interim head coach Bob Bradley, who replaced Bruce Arena as coach of the men's team following last year's World Cup.

"The match against China is an excellent lead in to the Gold Cup," said Bradley. "The fans in San Jose, and the Bay Area in general, have always been extremely supportive and we're looking forward to getting our busy summer schedule underway with a good warm up for our regional championship."

The U.S. is expected to field a top squad for the defense of its Gold Cup crown from June 6-24 at venues across the United States.
