Global warming probably hyped by interest groups

A member of the CPPCC (Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference) National Committee recently said that the claim about global warming, a widely concerned issue in the world, might have been the result of hyping by some interest groups. He said that Chinese government should not reduce its energy consumption because of such saying, the Yanzhao Metropolis Daily reported. Huo Yuping, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and professor at Zhengzhou University, made the statement in an interview on the sidelines of the annual session of the NPC (National People's Congress) and CPPCC. The climate change occurring on Earth might not have been caused by human activities, said the professor.
