Gazeley on Chinese fast track

Leading European logistics warehouse provider Gazeley Ltd said yesterday it plans to accelerate development in China in the next couple of years. The aim is to tap into the nation's robust demand fueled by a growing trade and consumer market. The UK-headquartered logistics real estate developer, which is a wholly-owned unit of Wal-Mart Stores Inc, said the plan is also designed to meet the rising demand from Wal-Mart's vast expansion in China. Gazeley is a preferred developer for Wal-Mart to build distribution networks in many markets.
