Today is D-Day for electronics makers as China's new environmental waste pollution policy begins. More than 1,800 different kinds of electronics in China from today need to have environmental protection stickers. It is the latest move as China thinks green, and strictly sticks to international guidelines. The new requirements are similar to those covered by the Restriction of Hazardous Substances directive passed by the European Union in January 2003. These aim to protect human health and the environment by restricting the use of hazardous substances in electronics. Trackback(0)
