Xiamen Export Processing Area

Xiamen Export Processing Area is one of 15 export processing areas ratified by the State Council and the only export processing area in Fujian province. The Export Processing Area is located inside Haicang Investment Zone, covering an area of 2.65 sq. Km, 10 kilometers away from Xiamen International Airport, 1.5 kilometers from Haicang Harbor, and 3 kilometers from Haicang Railway Station. The export processing area shall exercise the extraterritorial administration inside the customs border. The Customs in the area shall provide round-the-clock services with clearance mode of "one-time declaration, one-time examination of documents and one-time inspection". The enterprises in the area are entitled to the preferential treatments for export processing areas and national economic and technological development zones, including preferential tax treatments. They can handle all the procedures for import and export inside the area. The Export Processing Area encourages export-oriented high-tech industries.
